I remember the first boat club / ski trip at age 14 - “Roche moutonnees …alluvial flood plains … look at the striations on the rocks as the land burst upwards.,,,” . That was Aprica - you see the same from Grenoble to L’Oisans and I will always remember my “skinitiation “
